Long time no post!

So what's happened? A romantic, speed and weed fuelled Valentine's weekend/ productive band practice (2 songs written, although the quality of everything isn't great - especially our playing haha.. this was after 48hours of no sleep however..)

Now it's my half term which is fizzling away. I went to Birmi uni with Holly, I really really liked it =) the english+creative writing course looks perfect for meeee!

Also met a very interesting Latvian man called Eric, he speaks fluent Latvian, Russian and a bit of English haha. So I'm going to attack him next time about Vladimir Nabokov etc.etc. very interesting stuff! =D

But for now I'm off to have a hot bena, hot water bottle and bed ^_^ (on orders of holly hehhh)

My Uncle John is on his 3/10 day driving across the Sahara =D yay. He's in the Plymouth to Banjul rally so he'll be a month altogether..

All the snow has gone here =( we did have 3 inches of it so that's pretty good. And I did spend a day snowboarding =D hurt my chin tho. Gah.

YAY we're going to George's on Thursday (we- me and Holly) .. and I've got a spiffing Valentine's (late Valentine's I should add) planned, with the help of George ^_^ yayyyy. Cannae wait.

Ok I'm gonna go to bed and finish reading Lolita! yesss. Nighty night xx

aw she's so sweet. She's in my bed and has been asleep for over half an hour.. haha. What a cutie. She came to visit me by surprise =D .. I showed her round the school, she met Georgia, Fran, Lucas, Steevo.. hehe. We NEARLY got rumbled, my sister came back at lunch out of the blue, maaan close. I can't believe Ruth didn't notice my trousers weren't on properly hahaa.

Okey I'll go wake her up... gonna take her out for a meal =)

the time has come, the walrus said, for Lucy to write an LJ entry =P

I'm gonna tell you about my time with Holly at the weekend, because let's face it - it was AMAZING. nehnehh. hehe.

So went there Friday afternoon, had a fun time and went to el pubbo later on with rich Katie. hahaaa that was really amusing, the woman with a hacking cough came in to the women's toilets to spy on us!!! the fact that we were in the same cubicle of course has nothing to do with it <_<

peheh. Saturday I had a loooovely long lie-in while Holly went to work! =P (sign of things to come?) snort. Then got up and went down and had lunch with Holly's parents in my boxers lmao. Then I (got changed and..) picked up Holly from work at 3 =) .. I can't remember after that.. dinner oh yes, went into Manchester! And met up with George at LAST after thinking we'd been stood up haha.

We paid £18 and got into the most amazing indoor festival thing =D it was called 'Pangaea'. And that's what it was really, an amalgamation of music, not land tho haha. There were raves on several floors which we wandered in and out of.. jazz in the main bar, acoustic music outside.. we went to one of the moshpitty rooms and saw a brilliant band called 'The Whip' - listen to 'Trash' ! - Holly and I were right at the front by the subwoofers, it was truly orgasmic XD ahem. Then Client came on, they were super duper ^_^ hot bass player! but not as hot as wee Hollybean heehee. We spent the entire time hugging rofl. oooh then we went to the main floor where there was a reggae steel band! (this was at about 1.30am) and it was GREAT =D we were silly dancing and spinning and in conga lines, ah great stuff. Couldn't stop grinning. heehee.

Got home about... 4am? went to sleep about 6... Up at 9 to get the train! And garhh I had such a terrible hangover (even tho I'd only drunk 3 vodka+cokes between 7pm and 3am =( ) .. I nearly threw up at breakfast, and then Holly put me on the train but by the time it came to change I was almost crawling off the train! I collapsed in the toilet and it just wasn't nice =( . Was going to ring 999 but thank god it receded, and I just caught my connection. Phewph.

But yay the weekend was SO fun with Holly =D I love dancing with her hehehe. She's a wee cutie ^_^

Anna is haranguing me to go to bed. However I feel compelled to document our exceedingly productive, slightly alcohol induced (well, Anna insists she hasn't had any...) Rabbie Burns evening ^_^

Firstly, we drew on each other with pen, after I pointed out Anna had a lot eyebrow movement, and really could do with some caterpillar eyebrows.. I then had a frog and a snail (and a deflated slug) drawn on me... we also fiddle faddled with our hair XD

Anna then wanted to see quite how much her eyebrows moved (the mating ritual of the caterpillars) so filmed herself.. the best photo from this film is (not viewable to the general public) but we'll let you because we really like you!

I think the only thing to say is ROLLING ON THE FLOOOOOR LAUGHING XD

We then focussed our attention to more important things, such as making music videos.. ahem.. =P entitled 'let me see your thumb' hehe..

Passed my mock driving test ^_^ 5 minors! And that's from 1hr driving, all manoeuvres.. the real thing's only 30mins driving, 2 manoeuvres. So I'm hopeful about the real thing! wahey. The test lady was nice, her name was Julie. She was making me drive a test route, but we got talking, and for some reason the conversation wandered into talking about goldfish - she was evidently immersed - she forgot to direct me and we got lost! XD so 3-point turn and went back the way we came.. haha.

I skateboarded home from work today! For those uneducated as to the land layout of Mynydd Isa, it's a very long downhilllllllll. In the dark! hoho. Fell off once, stupid stone. I've changed my board wheels now, so I should be much slower and not fall over and cause anymore bleedykneeees. Yesterday I rollerbladed it, but I only realised when I was skating that I'd taken the brakes off. How intelligent of me. =P ..

aw and no skateboarding in school =( I took my board in, finished Film early and there was a big empty corridor just inviting me to skate down it =P so I did, only to be yelled at from behind 'LUCY GET OFF THAT SKATEBOARD NOW' by Miss Schmidt. mlerrrr. Foiled again by the Germans.
